Installation

Quick Install Guide for Discounts on Shopify

  • Log Into Shopify Admin: Access your store’s backend through your Shopify dashboard.
  • Search in App Store: Find “Nala Discounts” in the Shopify App Store.
  • Add Nala Discounts: Click “Add app” and approve all required permissions to install it.
  • Setup Guide: Follow the setup guide in the dashboard to easily setup the app.

How to Set Up Nala Discounts in Your Shopify Theme

Follow the steps below to enable Nala Discounts and make sure discount features appear correctly on your storefront.

Step 1: Enable the Nala Discounts App Embed
  1. Go to Online Store → Themes
  2. Click Customize on your active theme
  3. Open App embeds (left sidebar)
  4. Turn ON the toggle for Nala Discounts
  5. Click Save (top-right corner)

👉 This allows the app to load its core functionality across your store.

Step 2: Adding Nala Tier Pricing / Free Gift Block

To display tier pricing or free gift logic correctly on product pages:

  1. Open Template: In the Shopify Theme Editor, use the top dropdown to navigate to Products > Default product.
  2. Add Freegift: Click Add block in the sidebar, switch to the Apps tab, and select Product Freegift.
  3. Add Tiered Pricing: Click Add block again, go to Apps, and select Product Tiered Pricing.
  4. Position: Drag and drop the new blocks within the "Product information" list to your preferred spot.
  5. Save: Hit Save in the top right corner.
Step 3: Enable the App from Settings
  1. Open the Nala Discounts app from your Shopify Admin
  2. Go to the Settings page
  3. Enable the app to make it visible to customers
  4. Save your changes

Product Page

When the Product Tiered Pricing and Product Freegift blocks are added to the product page, they appear under the Product information section in the theme editor, as shown in the image. Each block is listed alongside other product elements like Title, Price, and Variant Picker, allowing you to easily arrange their position by dragging them up or down. This setup ensures that both features — tiered pricing and free gift offers — are seamlessly displayed on your product page, enhancing the shopping experience and highlighting active promotions directly to customers.
